So it’s been a while since I’ve added anything to this blog of mine, and as we’re all away skiing at the moment, now seems a good time to start again.

Over the next week I’m going to try and keep an ongoing diary of what I get up to here, being someone who doesn’t particularly like skiing or snowboarding, stuck in a ski resort, we’ll see just how much else there is to!

Last time I came, some of my time was taken up trying out both skiing and snowboarding but when I realised I didn’t like either I spent the rest of my time catching lifts around the three valleys and seeing what there was to see.

To be honest, pretty much, once you’ve been to the top of one very high mountain, you’ve been to the top of them all so this year I’m not particularly enthused about doing all that again (especially as the weather is gray and miserable at the moment, last time it was spectacularly sunny). But we’ll see – a couple times would be good, and when I do I’ll post the pictures here.

Also last time we did the Olympic bob sleigh (once is definitely enough for that one) and I did some  bombing around on a skidoo – which was probably the best part of it all – so I might do that again if I get the chance.

I’ve had a quick look over the activities leaflet for this week and not a great deal takes my fancy, but there is a walk out to a frozen lake somewhere at some point, so I might do that.

We’ll just have to see I guess.

Luckily the people I’m with are a good bunch, and though they’re all going to be out during the day, when we’re all in the evening having a drink and playing games I think we’re going to have a good time
